Client: Professional family, based in Maidenhead, near Windsor
Project: Family town garden, to provide family space and to encourage wildlife.
Style: Modern with colourful, floriferous planting.
This garden was designed using the 45 degree angle to make the garden feel larger, and allowed for two main seating areas - a swing seat beneath a timber arbour festooned with roses, and a deck with a dining table. The deck and lawn are at the same level to allow the family to bring out additional seating for larger family gatherings.
Planting had to bring colour and wildlife into the garden, so we design this with evergreen accents, and classic roses and other nectar rich plants, with climbers establishing on the boundaries to disguise the fences and make the garden feel even larger by blurring the boundaries.
